Delete your ChoreBuddies account

You can delete your ChoreBuddies account and all of your family's data at any time.

From the Android app

1. Open ChoreBuddies and sign in.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Under Delete my account, type DELETE and tap Delete my account.
4. Confirm.

Your account is deleted immediately.

Without the app

Email support@chorebuddies.app from the email address you use to sign in, with the subject Delete my account. We will confirm by email and delete the account within 7 days. We only act on requests from the account's own email address.

What gets deleted

• Your account and sign-in details
• Your profile, and every child profile in households you own
• Routines, tasks, rewards, points and completion history
• Profile photos
• Your parent PIN and household settings

What is kept, and for how long

• One encrypted copy of the deleted data for 30 days, so a mistaken or disputed deletion can be undone. It is deleted automatically after 30 days.
• Payment records held by PayPal or Google Play, under their own policies. Deleting your account cancels a PayPal subscription automatically. Cancel a Google Play subscription in the Play Store.
